We tried to keep maltesers in the air by laying on the floor and blowing through a tube. This was hard to do. Alice and Charlotte our Young Leaders tried to time us but we were giggling too much to see who did it for the longest. Next we tried to keep a ping pong ball in the air with a hair dryer. We found out that the force that kept them in the air was called the Bernoulli effect named after Daniel Bernoulli who dicovered it. This force is what keeps planes in the air!!!!!! scarey.
Then we put lipstick on and made prints on a piece of paper. We the tried to tell whose lips the prints came from. We are looking forward to next week when we can do some more experiments. |
